Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bungo Kumbas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Carter!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumbas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kumbas walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Carter checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Carter drops Kumbas with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kumbas looks back up at him and smiles so Carter waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Kumbas is rocked!
It looks like Bungo Kumbas has been cut.
Carter circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Kumbas tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Carter wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matt Carter!
