Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fofano Brucutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brucutu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has mac pinned against the cage. mac gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
mac tried to score with a low kick but Brucutu checks it.

The ground and pound from mac seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
mac wants to control but Brucutu is keeping him busy.
Brucutu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but mac wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Check out the look on mac's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Brucutu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

mac throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fofano Brucutu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brucutu doesn't succeed with the takedown
and mac connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Brucutu stuffs the takedown attempt from mac. mac gets slowly back to his feet.
mac shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brucutu's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

mac sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brucutu's guard.
mac is looking for a kimura but Brucutu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for mac to get the leverage.
Brucutu is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute mac jumps into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
mac wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brucutu keeps working.
mac is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brucutu has escaped the position, nice work there.
mac looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

mac stands up and beckons Brucutu to his feet.
Brucutu checks the leg kick nicely there.
mac displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brucutu.

mac shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brucutu as he jumps to the side.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
mac is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brucutu's half guard.

Nathan mac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
mac tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brucutu swivels and escapes.
mac closes the distance and clinches up with Brucutu, looking for a takedown. mac pushes Brucutu against the cage but Brucutu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

mac shoots in for a double leg but Brucutu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fofano Brucutu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan mac.
Good leg kick by Brucutu there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Brucutu moves into the clinch.
Brucutu jumps guard but mac stands there with Brucutu around his waist. Brucutu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Brucutu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

mac is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brucutu is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Nathan mac is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
