Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzales's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Himno Nacional Mexicano. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Enrique Gonzales! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raymond Harris! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzales throws a right hand that Harris ducks under and follows up with a left that Harris also avoids with ease. Harris gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Raymond Harris has been cut. Gonzales misses with a hook. Harris ducked under it nicely. Harris has Gonzales up against the cage in a clinch.
Harris unloads a knee to the mid-section. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Harris with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Harris comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Harris has Gonzales pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gonzales manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Harris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Harris has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Gonzales regains guard immediately. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Harris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gonzales is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Harris defends well. Harris stays in close to Gonzales's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gonzales looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harris is one step ahead there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A head kick misses from Harris. Harris on the wrong end of a nice jab. Harris dodges the punch combination from Gonzales.
Harris thumps Gonzales with a low kick. Harris stuffs the takedown attempt from Gonzales. Gonzales gets slowly back to his feet. Harris clinches. Harris lands a shoulder strike. Harris's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gonzales catches Harris with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gonzales.
A big left from Gonzales misses. Harris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Harris tries to close the distance and clinch but Gonzales swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gonzales throws out a loose jab but Harris uses good head movement to avoid it. Harris clinches up against the cage. Harris lands a nice knee to the body. Harris lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Raymond Harris dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Harris displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gonzales throws out the jab. Harris throws a sloppy head kick and Gonzales moves out of range easily. Harris wants to clinch. Gonzales throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harris. Harris is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gonzales misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Harris pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Gonzales tumbling to the mat - Harris dives into Gonzales's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gonzales wants to sweep but no luck. Harris sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gonzales's guard. Gonzales punching from the bottom.

Gonzales won't allow Harris to pass to mount. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Harris in particular looking to stall. Harris tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Gonzales.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gonzales moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gonzales tries to land a sweep but no joy. Harris controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Harris advances to half guard. Gonzales wants to improve his position but Harris is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gonzales tries to get to full guard but Harris has control of the leg. It looks like Harris is going to stand back up.

Raymond Harris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Enrique Gonzales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gonzales throws a hook to the side of Harris's head but Harris sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Gonzales just misses with a punch to the body.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Harris walks away with a smile on his face. Gonzales gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Gonzales is working hard here to advance position. Harris trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Gonzales doesn't escape. Gonzales tries to escape but Harris has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gonzales is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gonzales working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Harris holds on and takes a little breather. Enrique Gonzales has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gonzales wants to pass the guard but Harris is keeping the position. Raymond Harris is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Harris wants to sweep here but Gonzales controlling him for the moment. Harris is pulling down on Gonzales's head to control his posture.
Despite being in the dominant position, Raymond Harris just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Harris throws a head kick that Gonzales semi-blocks.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gonzales thows a left - swing and a miss!
And that's the end of the fight! Raymond Harris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Harris winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
