The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McLean fails to land the takedown. McLean moves out of range of the strikes. O Malley lands a big head kick that sends McLean tumbling to the mat! O Malley takes a step backwards and waves McLean back to his feet - he wants the finish!
McLean is rocked!
It looks like Lenny McLean has been cut. O Malley misses with a head kick.
Oh McLean is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! O Malley rushes McLean and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. O Malley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McLean blocks a head kick by O Malley.
O Malley has closed the distance and engaged McLean in a clinch.
O Malley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from McLean.
McLean seems to have got his legs back now. McLean has O Malley pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. O Malley manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lenny McLean. That's going to take a lot out of him. McLean has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. O Malley avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! O Malley prevents the takedown attempt.

The fight stays on the outside here - O Malley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McLean uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from O Malley. O Malley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McLean misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fighters circling - O Malley throws out the jab but it was never going to land. McLean drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. McLean loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McLean tries to free his leg and advance position but O Malley is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McLean stops O Malley from standing up. O Malley tries to land a sweep but no joy. McLean has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. McLean with a flurry of punches that miss. O Malley wants to stand and escape but McLean is having none of it. O Malley looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. McLean feints and as O Malley raises his hands in defense, McLean changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. McLean postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! O Malley is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McLean, into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. O Malley wants to get up but he can't break McLean's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. O Malley is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. McLean is working an open guard so O Malley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. McLean circles away from the clinch attempt.
Danny O Malley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. O Malley falls off balance throwing a combination
and McLean counters with a shoot takedown. O Malley fights it but they end up in guard. McLean stands up over O Malley, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. O Malley is looking to stand up but McLean isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McLean trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McLean trying to control the position from guard on top but O Malley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. O Malley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. McLean throws and elbow that misses. O Malley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McLean's guard. Nice move by O Malley! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. O Malley trying to control the position from guard on top but McLean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny O Malley dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lenny McLean's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
O Malley throws a jab when McLean was well out of range. O Malley leaves McLean with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. McLean displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as O Malley throws out the jab. McLean closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McLean lands in his opponent's guard. O Malley wants to stand and escape but McLean is having none of it. O Malley keeping full guard, as McLean tries to pass.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McLean tries for a takedown but O Malley manages to get underhooks.

O Malley seems keen to control McLean's posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. O Malley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

O Malley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. McLean can't escape the position.
O Malley looking to control but McLean is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. O Malley prevents McLean from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. McLean gets back to half guard. O Malley stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. O Malley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
O Malley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. O Malley getting the better of the striking in that exchange. McLean shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McLean showed some decent athleticism there. O Malley trying to hold on to McLean's head to control him but McLean postures up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lenny McLean will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lenny McLean's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

McLean trying to control but O Malley is working from the bottom. Lenny McLean overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. McLean is really struggling to control O Malley but he's trying to hold on to the position.

McLean tries to free his leg and advance position but O Malley is retaining full guard. O Malley controls McLean momentarily but McLean frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McLean throws a strike but O Malley rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. O Malley trying to control the position from guard on top but McLean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McLean tries to move to mount but O Malley blocks the move with his legs. McLean working the body and head with strikes. O Malley is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. O Malley is trying is best to control the position here. McLean winds up and cracks O Malley with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McLean wants to advance to full mount but O Malley doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. McLean pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. O Malley is keeping the position for now. Hammerfist, elbow! yells McLean's corner. There ya go! There ya go! O Malley looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McLeanis looking to pass into half guard but O Malley pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now O Malley is in guard. O Malley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McLean is proving hard to escape from.
And that's the end of the fight! Lenny McLean showed his dominance in that final round. I think McLean has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
