Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zacharia Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele has chosen Rock You Like A Hurricane as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zacharia Steele! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steele avoids the head kick by Bell.

Bell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Bell. Bell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Steele is looking to clinch but Bell is avoiding it.

Steele scores with a nice strike. Steele tries to close the distance and clinch but Bell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Steele lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bell backwards. Bell pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Bell pushes off an throws an elbow but Steele leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes. Steele gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bell regains guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steele trying to control but Bell is working from the bottom. Bell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bell looking to control.
Steele passes into half guard. Steele is trying to control. Bell wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Steele is working for a kimura but Bell is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Steele is working for a submission of some sort.

Steele is pressing down on Bell's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bell is holding on for now. Bell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steele on the ground. Steele is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bell sees it coming and defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bell won't allow Steele to pass to mount.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Steele takes one on the button. Bell takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Steele gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bell missing with knees to the body.
A right handed body shot lands from Steele.
Steele cracks Bell with a nice body shot. Steele on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A short uppercut from Steele. Bell takes an elbow to the temple. Bell blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bell tries to land a knee to the head but Steele blocks with his arms.

Zacharia Steele dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Steele scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Steele throws a series of punches but Bell moves out of range. Steele misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bell.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steele throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Bell throws a head kick that misses. Bell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Steele is looking to chop away at Bell's legs. Steele moves away from the strike by Bell. Steele swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kevin Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steele lands a nice hook to Bell's body. Bell takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kevin Bell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Steele scores with a one two! Bell had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Bell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Steele.
Bell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steele. Bell throws a head kick that misses. Steele misses with a takedown attempt - Bell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Steele keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Bell lands with a kick to the temple. Steele shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Bell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Steele crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bell - the referee stops the clock and Steele gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bell. Steele manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Steele pushes Bell up against the ropes in a clinch. Steele is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bell is defending well for now. Steele scores a nice knee to the body.

Nice body punch from Steele. A nice glancing elbow lands by Bell. Steele lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bell backwards. Good body shot from Steele.
Steele gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Steele lands with a short head shot on the inside. Steele lands an elbow inside. Steele lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Bell is rocked! Steele successfully pulls guard.
Oh Bell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bell tries to free his leg and advance position but Steele is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Steele is on top in guard.
Bell seems to have got his legs back now. Steele slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bell is not content to let Steele control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steele tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Steele wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bell keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Steele is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Steele tries to advance to mount but Bell denies him. Steele trying to control the action but Bell is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zacharia Steele showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Steele looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Steele misses the shot to the body. Bell tries a head kick but it misses.
Steele shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bell as he jumps to the side. A solid leg kick lands there for Bell.

Bell throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Steele's head. Bell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Steele misses with the combination.

Zacharia Steele is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bell keeping full guard, as Steele tries to pass. Bell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bell tries to get out of the position. Bell keeping moving, preventing Steele from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Steele lands with a straight right. Bell didn't see that one coming. Steele checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Bell staying out of range there. Steele looks to land a body kick but Bell moved away. Bell tries a head kick but it misses.
