Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crosby tries to clinch up but Carter circles away and keeps his distance.

Crosby stuffs the takedown.
Carter misses with a takedown attempt - Crosby sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Carter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crosby swivels and escapes.
Evan Crosby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raekwon Carter.

Crosby is looking to improve his position but Carter isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Carter tries to free his leg and advance position but Crosby is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crosby escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Crosby is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Carter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Crosby looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Carter has picked Crosby up and slammed him! Crosby can't keep hold of the triangle and Carter manages to pass to side control!
Crosby manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Carter won't allow Crosby to pass to mount.
Crosby uses his free foot to push down on Carter's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Carter.
Crosby throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Carter has his hands clasped together but Crosby breaks the hold and Carter is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Crosby!
