Garcia comes into the arena with Aint no Sunshine blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia moves in looking to clinch but Jacques pushes him off.

Garcia lands a big head kick that sends Jacques tumbling to the mat! Garcia takes a step backwards and waves Jacques back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Giorgio Jacques has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Garcia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jacques can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jacques slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Garcia wants to stand and escape but Jacques is having none of it.
