Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Junie Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poe Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Junie Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Poe Edgar!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Silva.
Edgar throws a combination that misses
and Silva counters with a thumping low kick.
Edgar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Silva!
Edgar on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.

and Silva counters with a left to the body.
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Edgar.

Silva has managed to clinch.
Silva using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Edgar has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Silva goes for a takedown in the clinch but Edgar prevents it.

Silva turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Edgar tries to bench press Silva off him but Silva keeps the position.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Edgar is letting Silva control him for a moment.

Silva working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Edgar is looking to reverse the position.

Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Edgar manages to get back to half guard.

Silva thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Edgar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Silva manages to get himself to full guard.

Edgar drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Edgar off! Edgar jumps back into Silva's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Edgar is one step ahead there.

Edgar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Silva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Edgar, into his guard.

Silva slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Edgar is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.
Silva lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Edgar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Edgar is looking to sinch up a triangle. Silva throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Edgar's body to avoid the submission. Edgar has instead reached around Silva's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Edgar arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
