Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Reinegger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Steel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to All Summer Long. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thiago Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tom Reinegger!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reinegger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Steel looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Reinegger is looking to take a break and control but Steel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Steel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reinegger can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Reinegger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Steel shoots in and bounces Reinegger off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Steel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
