Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between SergiO Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurico Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Boom - P.O.D. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Ortiz.
Rua is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ortiz doesn't manage to clinch there - Rua circles away.
Ortiz throws out a powerful jab.
SergiO Ortiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ortiz. Rua does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rua fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Ortiz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rua looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Ortiz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Rua shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ortiz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rua's guard.
