Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rian Madison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madison comes to the cage accompanied by Smut Peddlers - If You're Gonna Be Dumb. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright misses the jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Wright as he connects with a hook.
Wright thows a body shot but no joy.
Madison dives in and grabs Wright's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wright pushes down on Madison's head and hops out.
Wright digs a good hook to Madison's body.
Wright just misses with a punch to the body.
Wright tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Madison was well out of range. Poor timing from Wright.
Wright misses with a few strikes there.
Madison slips under a jab from Wright.
Wright throws a series of punches but Madison moves out of range.
Wright closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Madison did well to prevent Wright getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Madison is really struggling to control Wright but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Wright missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Let's hope that Wright has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Wright is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Wright is sitting in close to Madison's body. Madison has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wright is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wright is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Madison.
