The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubim looks to land a combination but Gordos avoids it well.
Rubim throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A combination from Rubim does no damage.
Rubim tries to clinch there but Gordos circles away.
Gordos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gordos shoots for a takedown but Rubim saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Rubim drops Gordos with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Gordos! Rubim dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
