Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sebastian Lindman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hulk Harmon! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harmon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lindman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harmon works his way to full guard. Good work. Lindman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Harmon seems keen to control Lindman's posture. Lindman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lindman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Harmon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lindman has Harmon in his guard. Harmon wants to control from the top but Lindman keeps moving. Lindman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Harmon trying to control the position from guard on top but Lindman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Harmon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lindman looking for a sweep. Not yet Lindman, not yet. Harmon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Harmon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Harmon stands and steps away. Lindman gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Harmon circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Lindman drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Harmon follows Lindman to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
