Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Bartsch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teej King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teej King is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Bartsch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teej King! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bartsch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. King manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Bartsch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground. King looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bartsch with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Bartsch actively working from the bottom here. Bartsch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. King thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bartsch trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but King manages to pass to mount!
Bartsch tries to lock up and control but King gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. King wants to control the pace but Bartsch is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bartsch is desperately trying to improve his position but King has a good base and remains in mount. Bartsch holds on for dear life, controlling King's posture momentarily. Bartsch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bartsch tries to get out of the position. Bartsch working to try and regain half guard.
King landing punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bartsch is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. BOOM! King connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, King cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
King looking to control but Bartsch is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. King looks gassed! Bartsch tries to hold on but King postures up. Bartsch throwing hammer fists to the chest of King. What's that going to do exactly? Bartsch tries to hold on but King postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bartsch is working to get back to half guard.
Bartsch controls the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bartsch's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Bartsch tries to hold on but King pushes him away. King lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
King trying to control but Bartsch is having none of it. A nice elbow there by King.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bartsch is trying desperately to improve position. Bartsch holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as King tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Bartsch tries to hold on but King postures up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. King trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bartsch is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Teej King dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bartsch closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bartsch lands in his opponent's guard. Bartsch is stalling in the full guard. Bartsch wants to stand but King is controlling his posture from full guard. Bartsch is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! King is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! King has escaped and now he's on top! King is breathing heavily. King being controlled here momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bartsch swivels though and keeps the full guard. King wants to control from the top but Bartsch keeps moving. Bartsch is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Bartsch pulls guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bartsch had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. King is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bartsch Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take King's back instead. Bartsch biding his time, controlling King. King looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Bartsch wants to control but King is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bartsch throwing damaging strikes from the back! King could be in trouble here!
King rolls, trying to escape but Bartsch keeps control of the position.
King trying to control the hands but Bartsch won't let him. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Bartsch has King flattened out and is raining down punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bartsch somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. King manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bartsch's guard. Nice work there by King.
King wants to control from the top but Bartsch keeps moving. King throws a big right hand that misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. King passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bartsch takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Bartsch dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bartsch. Bartsch throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. King tries to clinch but Bartsch is having none of it. Bartsch shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bartsch showed some decent athleticism there. King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bartsch is working away from the top position though. Bartsch prevents King from improving his position. King is trying to maintain the position but Bartsch is very close to passing his half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Bartsch is going to stand back up.

Bartsch keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The fighters are battling for position here. King manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bartsch throws a strike but King rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bartsch is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst King is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bartsch trying to control the position.
Bartsch is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
King preventing the sweep. Bartsch controlling King's posture. Bartsch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bartsch throws a leg kick which misses King's front leg but catches the back leg as King tries to avoid it. King fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bartsch cracks King with an open hand slap. King moves out of range of the body kick. King will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bartsch lands a nice shot to the body.
Bartsch has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bartsch breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bartsch tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Andrew Bartsch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bartsch moves into range and clinches up with King. King changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bartsch fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bartsch wants to clinch. King takes one to the chin there. Bartsch decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bartsch tries to stand and escape but King is controlling the position. King wants to improve his position but Bartsch is controlling well.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrew Bartsch showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bartsch has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
