Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Georges Dore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cormier is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pharoahe Monch - Simon Says. Corey Cormier is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges Dore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Cormier! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cormier swats away the attempt to clinch by Dore. Georges Dore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dore steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cormier. Dore throws a jab when Cormier was well out of range. Cormier takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Corey Cormier has been cut. Cormier throws a right and a left that both miss. Dore misses with a double jab
and Cormier counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Georges Dore has been cut. Dore looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dore fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cormier lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dore backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dore closes the distance and clinches up with Cormier, looking for a takedown. Dore pushes Cormier against the cage but Cormier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dore fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Cormier connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Dore! He's out on his feet! Cormier rushes in and drops Dore with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Corey Cormier!
