Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Hathaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Hathaway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sub Rampage! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hathaway throws a leg kick that misses. Hathaway throws a right hand that Rampage ducks under and follows up with a left that Rampage also avoids with ease. Hathaway throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hathaway misses with a double jab.
Hathaway throws a series of punches but Rampage avoids them all with ease. A head kick misses from Hathaway. Rampage shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hathaway's guard. Rampage controls from within his opponent's guard. Hathaway is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. I looks like Rampage might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sub Rampage dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
No joy there for Hathaway, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hathaway throws a series of punches but Rampage avoids them all with ease. Hathaway throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hathaway tries to keep at a distance but Rampage has taken the fight into the clinch. Rampage is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hathaway can't fight it off and eventually Rampage manages to take the fight to the floor. Hathaway looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rampage stays in close to Hathaway's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Despite being in the dominant position, Sub Rampage just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hathaway tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rampage counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hathaway thinking. Rampage closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rampage decides to take the fight back to the feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hathaway scores with a kick to the body.
A shot to the body from Hathaway misses and Rampage counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hathaway! Rampage looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rampage swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
