Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popovich tries to clinch up.
Murphy moves into the clinch.
Popovich tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Murphy smiles and moves away.
Popovich shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Murphy pinned against the cage. Murphy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Popovich misses with a wild body shot.
Murphy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Popovich.

Murphy is looking to improve his position but Popovich isn't that keen on the idea.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Popovich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Murphy's guard.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Murphy checks a leg kick.
Popovich slaps away a takedown attempt from Murphy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Popovich tries to close the distance and clinch up but Murphy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Popovich will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Horrible takedown by Popovich or perhaps it was just good defense by Murphy which made him look bad.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Popovich is really struggling to control Murphy but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

I would just about give that final round to Jack Murphy.
