Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Smash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smash comes to the ring accompanied by Car Wash. Baker has chosen London Calling as his entrance music. Richard Baker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brutus Smash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Baker! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smash tries to bum rush Baker with a series of wild strikes but Baker uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Baker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smash, pushing him back against the ropes. Smash wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Smash is looking to break free of the clinch but Baker has double underhooks. Smash wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Baker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smash throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Baker clinches. Smash wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Baker tries for a takedown. No joy.
Baker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Smash avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Baker lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Smash wants to break free but Baker has control.
Smash wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Smash throws a punch but it's blocked by Baker. Baker drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Smash stands and steps away. Baker gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Smash looks to land a right hand but Baker moved out of range. Smash throws a series of punches but Baker moves out of range. Nice takedown defense from Baker. No joy for Smash on that attempt. Smash is breathing heavily. Baker dodges the punch combination from Smash.
Baker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smash looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Baker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Baker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Smash is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker misses with the ground and pound. The ground and pound from Baker seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Baker is working Smash over with some ground and pound from side control. Baker is chipping away with strikes.
Smash parries the strikes from Baker easily there. Baker is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Smash to escape.
Smash tries to improve position but can't. Baker advances to full mount. Baker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Smash manages to avoid the submission attempt. Baker advances nicely into full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baker lands a heavy elbow. Smash really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Baker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Smash is looking to escape. Smash keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Smash shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Smash was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Baker can't escape the position.
Baker tries to lock up and control but Smash gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Smash lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Smash tries to control but Baker wriggling away. Baker sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Baker trying to hold on to Smash's head to control him but Smash postures up.
Smash seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Smash thows a huge punch but Baker dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baker looking for submissions off his back. Baker tries to roll over but Smash keeps him under control. Smash seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Baker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Smash has his takedown stuffed and Baker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Baker slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Baker decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Baker clinches.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Smash tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Baker just stands there and leans against the ropes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brutus Smash. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smash breaks the clinch.
Smash throws a good cross that connects.
Smash throws a combination. Baker tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Baker is rocked! Crack! Smash connects with the perfect overhand right and Baker falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Smash!
