Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remi Gaillard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Darwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaillard comes into the arena with Victoria blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles Darwin!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Gaillard does no damage.
Darwin looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Charles Darwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Darwin lands a jab to the nose.
Darwin throws a quick inside leg kick.
Darwin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gaillard swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Darwin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fighters circling - Gaillard throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Darwin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Darwin tries to clinch but Gaillard moves out of range.
Nice body kick there by Darwin.
Gaillard is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Darwin pushes Gaillard away with a front kick.
Darwin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Remi Gaillard has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - Darwin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A nice leg kick lands there from Darwin.
Darwin throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Gaillard crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
