The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OGrady closes the distance and clinches.
OGrady is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
OGrady has McNorris pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. OGrady pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending McNorris tumbling to the mat - OGrady dives into McNorris's guard.
McNorris keeping full guard, as OGrady tries to pass.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OGrady looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
OGrady tries to free his leg and advance position but McNorris is retaining full guard.
OGrady is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
OGrady really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McNorris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
OGrady wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of McNorris's closed guard. He's half up but McNorris has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! McNorris pivots and extends the arm, OGrady falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by McNorris! Well done that man!
