Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sandy Jakh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzales has chosen Certified Bomb as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sandy Jakh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Sandy Jakh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Miguel Gonzales! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jakh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gonzales as he avoids it easily. Jakh fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gonzales stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sandy Jakh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gonzales shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Gonzales pushes down on Jakh's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jakh is refusing to be controlled, as Gonzales sits in half guard. Jakh is trying to control but can't.
Gonzales tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Jakh. Gonzales working Jakh over with strikes. Jakh taking some punishment here, with Gonzales in his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gonzales in particular looking to stall. Gonzales stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Jakh looks for the body kick but Gonzales saw that one coming. Gonzales bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jakh is trying to control Gonzales's posture but Gonzales avoids it. Jakh is breathing heavily. Gonzales creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Jakh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gonzales wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Jakh is being controlled here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Gonzales working the ground and pound but Jakh is defending the strikes. Jakh taking punishment in the form of punches.
Jakh tries to bench press Gonzales off him but Gonzales keeps the position. Gonzales decides to stand back up. Gonzales steps back and let's Jakh get back to his feet. Gonzales avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gonzales throws a body punch but Jakh moves out of range. Gonzales scores with a takedown into Jakh's guard. Jakh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gonzales is fighting to break Jakh's control of his arms but Jakh is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jakh has his foot on Gonzales's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gonzales works his way back into a safe position though. Gonzales trying to control the position from guard on top but Jakh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jakh looking to control.
Jakh is pulling down on Gonzales's head to control his posture. Gonzales is looking to work some ground and pound but Jakh has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jakh looking for a guillotine here but Gonzales defends easily.
Gonzales throws a big right hand that misses. Jakh is looking for a triangle but Gonzales pushes his legs off easily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jakh doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gonzales counters with a single leg into guard. Jakh didn't expect that. Jakh has a closed guard, preventing Gonzales from standing up.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Gonzales controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jakh throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gonzales wants to get up but he can't break Jakh's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Jakh has his takedown stuffed and Gonzales holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Gonzales decides to pull guard. Gonzales wants to control but Jakh passes easily into half guard.

That's seven minutes gone in the round. Gonzales kicks Jakh off and gets back to his feet. Jakh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Gonzales counters with a single leg into guard. Jakh didn't expect that. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Jakh keeping full guard, as Gonzales tries to pass. Gonzales stands up and waves to Jakh to follow him. Jakh scores with a takedown into Gonzales's guard. Jakh preventing the sweep.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Gonzales wants to stand up but Jakh is controlling him. Gonzales keeping moving, preventing Jakh from controlling successfully. Gonzales trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Gonzales has control of Jakh's left arm, preventing Jakh from doing any damage. Gonzales keeping full guard, as Jakh tries to pass.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gonzales shoots in and bounces Jakh off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Gonzales wants to stand but Jakh has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Jakh keeping moving, preventing Gonzales from controlling successfully. Jakh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jakh wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miguel Gonzales dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Gonzales closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Gonzales working the head and body with strikes. Jakh is looking to get back to full guard here but Gonzales has managed to pass to side control instead. Gonzales can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jakh is looking to escape. Poor strikes thrown by Gonzales there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gonzales fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Gonzales sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Jakh doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Gonzales paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Jakh - great work!
