Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahlam Zahlam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Zahlam tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maynard scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Zahlam to see if he's OK.
Maynard decides to stand up, so the ref orders Zahlam to his feet.
Zahlam drops his hands momentarily and Maynard takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Zahlam shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Zahlam wants to pass the guard but Maynard is keeping the position.

and Maynard counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zahlam's guard now.
Maynard stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Zahlam misses with a looping right.
Zahlam has his takedown stuffed
and Maynard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Zahlam looks gassed!
Maynard scores with a hook.
Zahlam misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Maynard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maynard lands a jab to the nose.
Zahlam takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Danga de danga de dang - Maynard scores with a four punch combination!
Maynard lands with a right that hurts Zahlam. Zahlam looks to clinch but Maynard throws a short knee that drops Zahlam. This one is all over!
