Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Tretow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tretow has chosen Days of Thunder as his entrance music. Dennis Tretow told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Rogan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dennis Tretow! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tretow swats him away and circles back towards the center. Horrible takedown by Rogan or perhaps it was just good defense by Tretow which made him look bad. Tretow is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Rogan is looking to score with low kicks. Tretow stuffs the takedown attempt from Rogan. Rogan gets slowly back to his feet. Tretow rushes Rogan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tretow can't get the takedown.
Rogan is trying to drag Tretow to the mat but Tretow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Rogan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rogan wants a takedown but no success here.
Rogan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rogan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tretow is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tretow breaks from the clinch.
Tretow misses with a series of wild punches.
Tretow looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Rogan throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogan looking to control.
Tretow tries to free his leg and advance position but Rogan is retaining full guard. Rogan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tretow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tretow looking to pass the guard. Tretow wants to control from the top but Rogan keeps moving. Rogan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tretow controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tretow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rogan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tretow has managed to get both his arms back between Rogan's legs - danger averted. Tretow advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rogan tries to roll over but Tretow keeps him under control. Rogan is trying to control but Tretow passes into side control!
Rogan tries to improve position but can't. Rogan manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Rogan is breathing heavily. Tretow tries to get to full guard but Rogan has control of the leg. Rogan thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Tretow to regain full guard. Rogan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tretow is keeping the position for now. Tretow throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Tretow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tretow's guard. Tretow punching from the bottom.
Rogan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tretow has managed to free his arm - good work. Rogan passes the guard and advances to mount! Rogan goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Tretow turns into him and now he's in Rogan's guard.
Rogan can't keep his opponent in guard - Tretow advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogan looking for submissions off his back. Rogan wants to improve his position but Tretow is controlling well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tretow in particular looking to stall. Tretow seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Rogan is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
