Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ithalo Bodin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andrew Storm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ithalo Bodin! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bodin connects with a jab. No joy there for Bodin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bodin throws a lazy right hand but Storm sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Storm. Storm is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bodin has escaped the position, nice work there. Bodin manages to get back to half guard. Storm is keen to just control but Bodin is a slippery customer. The fighters are battling for position here. Bodin manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bodin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Storm is one step ahead there. Storm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bodin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Storm trying to control but Bodin is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bodin is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Storm dives into side control.
Storm decides to stand back up. Storm steps back and let's Bodin get back to his feet. Bodin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Storm circles away quickly and effectively. Nice combo by Bodin! Oh, that's hurt him - Storm falls to the canvas and Bodin follows him into side control.
Storm is rocked! Storm looks to move to half guard but instead Bodin has passed into mount! Damn! Bodin is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Bodin misses with a two punch combination.
Storm on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Storm looks to throw the jab but Bodin is out of range. Storm staying out of range there. Bodin misses with a two punch combination.
Bodin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Storm uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bodin. Bodin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Storm moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Storm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bodin makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Storm throws a predictable looking body shot
and Storm takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Storm lands a lovely overhand right. Bodin throws a right and a left that both miss. Nice shot lands for Storm. Bodin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Storm moves away. Bodin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Andrew Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Storm slips a jab and a cross from Bodin.
Storm swings for the body but Bodin moves out of range.
Storm throws a nice looking combination but Bodin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A jab from Storm does it's job there. Bodin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Storm circles away quickly and effectively. Bodin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Storm manages to avoid it. Nice body punch from Storm. Bodin fails to land with a series of punches.
Bodin looks gassed! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bodin walks into a stiff left hand from Storm. A punch combination from Bodin misses. Excellent takedown into side control there by Storm. Bodin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Storm is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bodin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bodin is looking to regain half guard here but Storm keeps moving and retains side control. Storm is trying to get an arm triangle but Bodin is defending well. Storm is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bodin has escaped the position, nice work there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Storm stands up and beckons Bodin to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andrew Storm will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Storm misses with an uppercut. Bodin saw that one coming. Storm misses with a takedown attempt - Bodin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Storm moves out of range of the strikes. Storm drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bodin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Storm trying to control but Bodin is working from the bottom. Storm pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bodin is keeping the position for now. Storm forces his way into half guard. Bodin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm tries to pass to full mount but Bodin defends it. Bodin pushes Storm off looking to stand but Storm dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bodin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Storm's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Storm's back! You can see the frustration on Storm's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Storm looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Bodin keeps control of the position as Storm tries to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bodin is not going to allow Storm to sit and survive in this position. Storm is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Bodin tries to keep control of the position but Storm is staying busy. Bodin not allowing Storm to control his hands. Bodin tries to get the hooks in deep but Storm pushed the leg off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Storm tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Bodin stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Storm throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Storm throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bodin was covering up waiting for the punch and Storm finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bodin keeping moving, preventing Storm from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bodin has his foot on Storm's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Storm works his way back into a safe position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Storm dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Storm avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bodin misses with a double jab
and Storm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bodin scores with a one two! Storm had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Bodin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Bodin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Storm makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Storm feints and as Bodin raises his hands in defense, Storm changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bodin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Storm not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Storm avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bodin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Storm wants to control from the top but Bodin keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bodin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Storm is aware though and is defending well. Storm drops back looking for a leg! Bodin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bodin manages to kick Storm off! Storm jumps back into Bodin's guard. Bodin keeping moving, preventing Storm from controlling successfully. Andrew Storm overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bodin throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Storm escapes and throws Bodin's legs to the side, diving into side control! Storm stands up and beckons Bodin to his feet. Bodin scores with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm looks for a takedown but Bodin sprawls well. Storm lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Storm. Ithalo Bodin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bodin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bodin throws an overhand right that lands on Storm's shoulder, as Storm tries to avoid the shot. Storm stuns Bodin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Storm lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Storm fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bodin manages to avoid it. Storm misses with a two punch combination.
Storm stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Storm bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bodin's head. Storm bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Storm is trying to get an arm triangle but Bodin is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bodin gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bodin gets back to full guard.
Bodin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Storm has picked Bodin up and slammed him! Bodin can't keep hold of the triangle and Storm manages to pass to side control! Storm tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Storm is looking to take a break and control but Bodin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bodin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Storm's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Bodin is looking to escape. Storm decides to stand up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Storm misses the shot to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrew Storm showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Storm, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
