Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericsson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Auditore is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ericsson pulls his head out easily.
Auditore tries to get to full guard but Ericsson has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Auditore has his foot on Ericsson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ericsson works his way back into a safe position though.

Ericsson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Auditore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ericsson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Auditore works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ericsson wants to pass the guard but Auditore is keeping the position.

and Ericsson counters with a one-two to the body.
Ericsson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Auditore, pushing him back against the cage.
Ericsson manages to break the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ericsson wants to control from the top but Auditore keeps moving.
Auditore throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ericsson escapes and throws Auditore's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Auditore tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ericsson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ericsson wants to take Auditore's back here but Auditore is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ericsson fails with a takedown attempt.
Auditore shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ericsson but Ericsson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Ericsson counters by moving into the clinch.
Auditore has Ericsson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ericsson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ezio Auditore. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ericsson wants the takedown. Auditore is fighting it off but Ericsson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Auditore's guard against the cage.
Ericsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Auditore has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ericsson has managed to get both his arms back between Auditore's legs - danger averted.
Ericsson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ericsson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Auditore escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ericsson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ericsson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Auditore is proving hard to escape from.
Auditore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ericsson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ericsson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Auditore pushes a forearm under Ericsson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ericsson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
