Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Mika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikko Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Carter swats away the attempt to clinch by Mika.

Carter looks to land a combination but Mika avoids it well.

Carter cracks Mika with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Mika seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Carter for as long as he can get away with.
Carter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Carter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Mika shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Carter is trying to defend but Mika finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mika is taking a breather. Carter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Mika has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Carter stalks Mika and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mika's face. Mika staggers backwards, shaken.

Mika shoots in looking for a takedown. Carter tries to sprawl out of it but Mika keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
