Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jakobi Smithy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Namkabuan Sitthichok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smithy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Freak on a Leash. Sitthichok has chosen Keith Canisius - Far From as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitthichok ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smithy moves away.
Sitthichok fails with the takedown.
Sitthichok shoots in but Smithy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Smithy shoots in but Sitthichok avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sitthichok fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jakobi Smithy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Namkabuan Sitthichok.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sitthichok misses with a punch to the body.
Sitthichok tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Smithy just stands there and leans against the cage.

Smithy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sitthichok sprawls well initially but Smithy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Smithy is trying to control the action in half guard but Sitthichok is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Smithy is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Sitthichok is trying to stand back up but Smithy is controlling him
Smithy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sitthichok is just riding it out for now. Smithy eventually gives up the hold.

Smithy thows a huge punch but Sitthichok dodges it nicely.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sitthichok closes the distance and clinches up with Smithy, looking for a takedown. Sitthichok pushes Smithy against the cage but Smithy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sitthichok tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sitthichok doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Smithy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Smithy is trying for a kimura here. Sitthichok looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Smithy wins by kimura!
