Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Geo Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aleksander Emelianenko will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Geo Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aleksander Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jr takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Jr looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Emelianenko drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Emelianenko with the ground and pound but Jr regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Emelianenko tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jr controls his leg. Emelianenko looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Emelianenko is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Emelianenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Emelianenko is thwarting Jr's attempts to control the position. Emelianenko lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko is trying to control the action in half guard but Jr is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Emelianenko lands a nice short elbow. Jr is looking to escape. Emelianenko wants to take a breather but Jr is having none of it. Jr is defending against the submission attempts here by Emelianenko.
Emelianenko is looking to advance position but Jr won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jr taking some punishment here, with Emelianenko in his half guard. Emelianenko tries to pass to full mount but Jr defends it. Emelianenko is working for a submission of some sort.
Emelianenko wants to control but Jr is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Jr is looking to escape. Emelianenko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jr keeps working. Emelianenko landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Emelianenko looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Jr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Emelianenko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Emelianenko prevents Jr from getting back to his feet. Jr keeping moving, preventing Emelianenko from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko postures up.
Jr manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Jr with a poor takedown and Emelianenko decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jr's guard. Emelianenko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jr is keeping the position for now. Emelianenko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jr looking to hit a scissor sweep but Emelianenko is one step ahead there. Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Emelianenko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Emelianenko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aleksander Emelianenko dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Emelianenko slips a jab and a cross from Jr.
Emelianenko connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Excellent takedown into side control there by Emelianenko. Emelianenko thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Emelianenko decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jr to his feet. Emelianenko scores with a takedown into Jr's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jr is trying to keep Emelianenko in close.
Emelianenko tries to free his leg and advance position but Jr is retaining full guard. Emelianenko trying to control the position from guard on top but Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jr wants to stand up but Emelianenko is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Emelianenko postures up.
Emelianenko looking to sit in guard and control but Jr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Emelianenko pulls Jr in close to his closed guard and prevents Jr from doing any damage or advancing position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Emelianenko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Emelianenko drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jr dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko is trying to control the position but Jr postures up. Jr is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Emelianenko can't keep his opponent in guard - Jr advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Emelianenko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Emelianenko is trying to maintain the position but Jr is very close to passing his half guard. Jr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Emelianenko keeps working. Jr tries to pass to full mount but Emelianenko defends it. Jr is working hard here to advance position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Emelianenko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Emelianenko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aleksander Emelianenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Emelianenko is defended easily by Jr. Jr defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Emelianenko. Emelianenko throws a nice head kick!
Jr tries to clinch there but Emelianenko circles away.

Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Emelianenko pulls his head out easily. Emelianenko lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jr wants to control but Emelianenko is keeping busy and won't allow it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Emelianenko with the ground and pound but Jr uses the opportunity to regain guard. Jr has control of Emelianenko's left arm, preventing Emelianenko from doing any damage. Jr wants to get back to his feet but Emelianenko is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jr keeping moving, preventing Emelianenko from controlling successfully. Emelianenko won't allow Jr to get back to his feet. Jr looking for a triangle here. Emelianenko is fighting it but it looks tight! Jr pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Emelianenko is tapping out - this one is all over!
