Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Krammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Krammer! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin looks to land a combination but Krammer avoids it well. Martin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Krammer. Martin tries to bum rush Krammer with a series of wild strikes but Krammer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Michael Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin slaps away a takedown attempt from Krammer, before circling back to the center of the mat. A looping hook to the body misses from Krammer. Martin does a little dance to reset his feet. Martin misses with a wild combination.
Krammer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Martin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Martin throws a right hand that Krammer ducks under and follows up with a left that Krammer also avoids with ease. Krammer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Krammer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Martin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krammer tries to score with some ground and pound. Martin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Martin defending against the ground and pound. Krammer throwing shots but missing, from side control. Krammer is trying to get an arm triangle but Martin is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. An elbow from Krammer crashes against the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krammer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Krammer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Martin, who protects the arm well. Krammer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Martin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Krammer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Martin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krammer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Krammer is trying to get an arm triangle but Martin is defending well. Martin wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krammer is working to tighten is grip on Martin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Martin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Krammer is really squeezing tight and eventually Martin passes out! Krammer breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jimmy Krammer!
