Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Tomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kwan Seung Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dan Tomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kwan Seung Park!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomas closes the distance and clinches up with Park, looking for a takedown. Tomas pushes Park against the cage but Park circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Park.

and Park counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Park.
Tomas tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Tomas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Park is aware though and is defending well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Park doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tomas counters with a head kick. That will keep Park thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Dan Tomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kwan Seung Park.

Park pushes Tomas off and scrambles back to his feet.
Tomas stalks Park and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Park's face. Park staggers backwards, shaken.

Park is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Tomas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Park on the ground.

Park is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Tomas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Park is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Park postures up in Tomas's guard and throws a big left but Tomas blocks it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

so Park counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tomas wants to stand and escape but Park is having none of it.

Tomas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Park doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Park manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Park is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Park wants to control but Tomas is keeping him busy.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tomas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Park is working away from the top position though.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tomas is desperately trying to improve his position but Park has a good base and remains in mount.

Park unloads with some shots from mount but Tomas bucks and avoids them well.

Park has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tomas's face.

Tomas is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Tomas avoids a strike by Park and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Park's guard! Fantastic escape!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tomas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Park is fending him off so far but Tomas persists. Nope, Park circles away and we're back to standing.

Park tries to close the distance and clinch but Tomas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Park wants to pass the guard but Tomas is keeping the position.

I would just about give that final round to Kwan Seung Park.
I've got Park winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
