Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Poirier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes into the arena with Rage against the machine- Killing in the name blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poirier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Robinson.
Poirier tests Robinson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Robinson shoots for a double leg takedown but Poirier sprawls well. He's pushed Robinson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Robinson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Poirier tries to bum rush Robinson with a series of wild strikes but Robinson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Poirier connects with a nice cross there... Robinson is looking wobbly and Poirier recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Robinson to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Poirier jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
