The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilz stuffs the takedown attempt from Halkias. Halkias gets slowly back to his feet.
Halkias looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pilz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Halkias cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Halkias lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Pilz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Halkias shoots for a double leg takedown but Pilz sprawls well. He's pushed Halkias's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Halkias dives in and grabs Pilz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pilz pushes down on Halkias's head and hops out.
A punch lands to the side of Halkias 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Halkias shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pilz sprawls well. Pilz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Halkias gets slowly back to his feet.

Pilz lands a hook that stumbles Halkias back into the cage. Pilz follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Halkias to the canvas! Pilz pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Halkias has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
