The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
No joy there for Staples, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Staples throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Raja Sullivan has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Staples, as that shot connected.
Sullivan shoots in for a takedown but Staples shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sullivan moves forwards but Staples connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sullivan is rocked!

Sullivan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Staples rushes Sullivan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Staples lands a right hand.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Staples.
Staples lands a big right hand that drops Sullivan! The killer instinct kicks in and Staples finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Staples!
