Belagio's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dopeman by KRS-1. Vitor Belagio could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to wilford brimley's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
brimley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
brimley is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Belagio gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Belagio lands a knee to the head.
brimley prevents the takedown attempt.
Belagio stops a takedown attempt from brimley.
Belagio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Belagio.
Belagio moves into the clinch.
Belagio manages to pull guard.
Belagio tries to land a sweep but no joy.

brimley tries to pass the half guard into mount. Belagio knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

brimley shoots in for a double leg but Belagio sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vitor Belagio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of wilford brimley.
Belagio tries to clinch but brimley is having none of it.

brimley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Belagio scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
brimley wants to control but Belagio postures up.
brimley sneaks out the side door and pushes Belagio away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
brimley bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Belagio's head backwards.
brimley darts in and clinches Belagio up against the cage.
brimley goes for a takedown in the clinch but Belagio prevents it.
brimley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
brimley gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Belagio regains guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
brimley tries to stand but Belagio is controlling from the bottom.
brimley tries to free his leg and advance position but Belagio is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Belagio keeping moving, preventing brimley from controlling successfully.
Belagio is looking for a triangle but brimley pushes his legs off easily.
brimley makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
brimley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Belagio is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Belagio tries to score a body lock takedown but brimley shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Belagio manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Belagio or perhaps it was just good defense by brimley which made him look bad.
Belagio lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Belagio connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent brimley tumbling to the canvas! Belagio pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! brimley was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vitor Belagio!
