Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jikko Teodoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabe Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Teodoro. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Teodoro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Teodoro misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Teodoro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Silva is desperately trying to improve his position but Teodoro has a good base and remains in mount.
Silva gets back to half guard.
Silva trying to hold on to Teodoro's head to control him but Teodoro postures up.

Silva tries to roll over but Teodoro keeps him under control.
Teodoro is trying to control the action in half guard but Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Teodoro gets to his feet. Silva looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Silva decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Silva seems content to control.
Silva decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Teodoro keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Silva is pressing down on Teodoro's thigh, looking to free his foot. Teodoro is holding on for now.
Still in half guard, Silva seems content to control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Teodoro has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Teodoro counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Silva sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Teodoro's guard.

Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silva instigates a clinch.

Teodoro manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Silva is trying to force a seperation but Teodoro has the dominant position.

Silva gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Teodoro regains guard.
Silva stands up and waves to Teodoro to follow him.
Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Teodoro looking for submissions off his back.
Teodoro wants to control but Silva passes into side.

Teodoro seems a little lost for a moment, as Silva dominates the positioning.
Silva connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Teodoro some visible discomfort.
Silva slows the pace down.
Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Teodoro knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Teodoro can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gabe Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Silva stands and throws Teodoro's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Silva stands up.
Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

You can see the frustration on Teodoro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Silva scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Teodoro to see if he's OK.
Silva has hold of Teodoro's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Teodoro tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Silva cranks the arm and Teodoro screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Teodoro, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
