Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Severus Ignotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ignotus is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Slam. Peter Parker has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Severus Ignotus! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker stuffs the takedown. Parker moves in looking to clinch but Ignotus pushes him off. Ignotus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parker but Parker pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ignotus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Parker sprawls well. Parker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ignotus gets slowly back to his feet. Peter Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Severus Ignotus. Parker misses with a double jab.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker misses with the combination.
Ignotus tries for a takedown but Parker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ignotus motions for Parker to come forward. Ignotus throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker throws a right and a left that Ignotus avoids nicely. Parker swinging wilding here.
Parker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Parker counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Parker lands a jab-cross combination. Ignotus moves in looking to clinch but Parker pushes him off. Ignotus has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Parker fails in his attempt to clinch. Parker scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Parker scores with the left hand. Ignotus knows he should have avoided that one. Parker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ignotus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ignotus will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Parker looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ignotus tries for a takedown but Parker circles away easily and Parker counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ignotus's guard now. Ignotus trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Parker trying to control but Ignotus is working from the bottom. Parker controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Parker stops Ignotus from standing up. Parker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Parker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ignotus is proving hard to escape from.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Parker tries to clinch but Ignotus moves away and Ignotus counters with a shoot takedown. Parker fights it but they end up in guard. Parker throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Ignotus stops Parker from standing up. Ignotus trying to control but Parker is working from the bottom. Ignotus tries to free his leg and advance position but Parker is retaining full guard. Ignotus looks gassed! Parker trying to control the position.
Ignotus working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ignotus drops back looking for a leg! Parker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parker manages to kick Ignotus off! Ignotus jumps back into Parker's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ignotus wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Parker moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Parker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ignotus with a poor takedown and Parker counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ignotus! Parker wants to stand but Ignotus is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Parker stands up from mount. Strange move. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parker moves into range and clinches up with Ignotus. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Parker dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ignotus takes one to the chin there. Parker misses with a series of wild punches.
Parker moves in looking to clinch but Ignotus pushes him off. Parker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ignotus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ignotus fails with the takedown and Parker counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Parker is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Ignotus is trying to control but can't.
It looks like Parker is going to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Parker is pressing down on Ignotus's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ignotus is holding on for now. Parker is thwarting Ignotus's attempts to control the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Parker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Parker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ignotus has time to react. Ignotus wants to clinch and Parker counters with a series of strikes. Ignotus will be more careful next time no doubt. Parker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ignotus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Ignotus tries to buck Parker off but Parker is having none of it. Parker wants to stand but Ignotus has his arm trapped. Parker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ignotus on the ground. Ignotus manages to get back to half guard. Peter Parker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Parker tries to stand but can't do so whilst Ignotus controls his leg. Ignotus wants to control but Parker is keeping busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Parker is looking to clinch. Ignotus dodges the punch combination from Parker.
Parker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Parker lands in his opponent's guard. Parker wants to pass the guard but Ignotus is keeping the position. Parker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Parker wants to stand but Ignotus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Parker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ignotus working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ignotus is proving hard to escape from.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Parker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ignotus gets cracked there but stands up to it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Parker dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Ignotus with a lazy takedown attempt and Parker counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Parker. Ignotus has a closed guard, preventing Parker from standing up. Ignotus wants to sweep here but Parker controlling him for the moment. Parker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Parker wants to control from the top but Ignotus keeps moving. Parker wants to get up but he can't break Ignotus's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Ignotus is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Parker rolls with it to try and escape but Ignotus cranks on the arm and Parker is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
