PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between BC Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Blue Balls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins comes to the ring accompanied by Paint it Black. Dr Blue Balls told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blue Balls shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Blue Balls trying to control but Hawkins is having none of it.

Blue Balls swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hawkins is now in Blue Balls's guard. A big mistake from Blue Balls there, giving up the dominant position!

Hawkins is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Blue Balls is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Blue Balls working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hawkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hawkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Blue Balls drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hawkins looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hawkins looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hawkins!

That was a close second round but I would say that BC Hawkins will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Dr Blue Balls's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Blue Balls shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Blue Balls showed some decent athleticism there.
Hawkins tries to roll over but Blue Balls keeps him under control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Blue Balls tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Blue Balls has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hawkins throws a head kick that misses.
Blue Balls misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Blue Balls shoots in looking for a takedown. Hawkins tries to sprawl out of it but Blue Balls keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Hawkins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
