Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Ytlear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrique Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ytlear comes to the cage accompanied by Necrophobic - The Third Antichrist. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rizzo's choice of entrance music: Pink Floyd - The Trial. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, James Ytlear! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Enrique Rizzo! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ytlear closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rizzo did well to prevent Ytlear getting side control. Rizzo is trying to stand back up but Ytlear is controlling him
Ytlear thows a huge punch but Rizzo dodges it nicely.
Ytlear is keen to just control but Rizzo is a slippery customer. Ytlear slows the pace down in half guard. Ytlear trying to control the action but Rizzo is working from the bottom. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ytlear in particular looking to stall. Rizzo is pressing down on Ytlear's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rizzo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ytlear defends it easily. Ytlear trying to control the position from guard on top but Rizzo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rizzo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ytlear controls the pace. Rizzo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ytlear wants to pass the guard but Rizzo is keeping the position. Ytlear trying to control but Rizzo is working from the bottom. Rizzo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ytlear manages to get himself to full guard.
Rizzo wants to stand but Ytlear has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rizzo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ytlear works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rizzo stands up from guard. Let's bang! An inside leg kick lands from Rizzo. Rizzo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Rizzo. Ytlear is breathing heavily. Rizzo throws a front kick that sends Ytlear stumbling back into the cage. Ytlear takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Rizzo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ytlear if he has to take too many more of those.

Rizzo throws a nice head kick!
Ytlear takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Rizzo lands with a hook. Ytlear tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Ytlear takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ytlear takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ytlear takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. The crowd cheers as Rizzo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ytlear doesn't seem phased though. Rizzo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Ytlear walks forward, straight into a front kick from Rizzo. Enrique Rizzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rizzo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Rizzo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Rizzo goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Rizzo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Ytlear is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
An inside leg kick lands from Rizzo. Rizzo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ytlear takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Rizzo feints and then cracks Ytlear's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ytlear down. Rizzo takes the fight into the clinch. Rizzo lands a nice elbow.
It looks like James Ytlear has been cut. Rizzo connects with a knee to the head.
Rizzo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rizzo lands a big head kick that sends Ytlear tumbling to the mat! Rizzo takes a step backwards and waves Ytlear back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ytlear is rocked! Rizzo lands a brutal head kick. Ytlear looks out on his feet and Rizzo throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Enrique Rizzo! Enrique Rizzo is the new lightweight champion!
