The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goins jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Goins works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Yamaguchi loads up on a big right hand but Goins slips the punch.
Yamaguchi misses with a looping left.
Yamaguchi ducks under a wild hook from Goins.
Yamaguchi throws the left hand but Goins avoids the punch easily.
Goins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yamaguchi sprawls well initially but Goins persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Goins is trying to work for a kimura but Yamaguchi is defending well.
Goins throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Goins maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Yamaguchi could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Goins has cracked it and Yamaguchi is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Goins!
