Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arthur Mekhontsev!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mekhontsev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mekhontsev connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mekhontsev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mekhontsev wants it to stay on the feet.
Mekhontsev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mekhontsev doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mekhontsev!

Mekhontsev tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mo trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Mekhontsev tries to lock up and control but Mo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mekhontsev tries to control the position but Mo now has his back.
Mekhontsev tries to escape but Mo has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Mo missing with strikes from the back.
Mo looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Mekhontsev taps!
