Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JM CQ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, JM CQ! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Scott showed some decent athleticism there. CQ looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Scott is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and CQ defends it well. Scott is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Scott takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. CQ won't allow Scott to pass to mount. Scott thows a huge punch but CQ dodges it nicely.
CQ has his hands clasped together around Scott's back. He's all about the action. CQ is looking to control Scott's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can CQ avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott is looking to advance position but CQ won't allow it. Scott frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. CQ is in a horrible position here. Scott smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Scott controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott looking to control but CQ is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Scott controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott has hold of CQ's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and CQ manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
CQ is squirming around, avoiding Scott's attempts to control the action. Scott controlling from the full mount. Scott has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. CQ really wants to buck Scott off and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott controlling from the full mount. CQ wants to control but Scott is having none of it. Scott jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but CQ manages to avoid the submission attempt. CQ is looking for a sweep. CQ takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. CQ is trying to work for a sweep but Scott has mounted him! Scott working the ground and pound effectively.
Scott with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Scott lands a nice shot to the head. Scott takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. CQ is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Scott working for a guillotine from mount but CQ is in no mood to give up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Scott dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
CQ moves in looking to clinch but Scott pushes him off. CQ wants to clinch. CQ takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Scott closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming CQ to the mat! CQ manages to get full guard. Scott looking to pass the guard. CQ is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Scott working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of CQ's head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. CQ striking off his back but it's not causing Scott any problems. Scott stands up and waves to CQ to follow him. Scott closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Scott is looking to take a break and control but CQ is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. CQ is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Scott scores with a couple of nice shots. Scott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Scott works his way into side control. CQ is trying to control Scott's posture but Scott avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. CQ sneaks back into half guard. Scott passes the guard and advances to mount! Scott looking to control but CQ is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. CQ is looking to improve his position but Scott isn't that keen on the idea. CQ in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. CQ is wriggling around trying to escape.
Scott tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. CQ tries to reverse the position but Scott maintains control. Scott scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish CQ?
Scott is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, CQ has managed to escape the submission attempt.
BOOM! Scott connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Scott wants to control the pace but CQ is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Scott is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because CQ is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Scott scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish CQ?
Scott content just to control the position here. Scott is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But CQ has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from CQ! Scott manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Sam Scott dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
CQ looks to land a combination but Scott avoids it well. Scott gets the takedown into side control. CQ gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! A nice elbow there by Scott. Scott postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. CQ looks a forlorn figure.
Scott controlling from the full mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Scott goes for an armbar but CQ turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from CQ.
That's one minute gone in the round. CQ throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Scott works some decent striking defense from the bottom. CQ scoring with some ground and pound. Scott looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Scott looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. CQ would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Scott avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. CQ looking to improve position, pressing down on Scott's thigh with his hand. Scott seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is CQ paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! CQ's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Scott picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
