5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Loki Fredriksson! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fredriksson throws a leg kick but Emelianenko checks it. Fredriksson is looking to chop away at Emelianenko's legs. Fredriksson tries to land a leg kick but Emelianenko saw it coming and moves away.
A head kick misses from Fredriksson. Emelianenko shoots in but Fredriksson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Emelianenko fails with an attempt to clinch.
Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fredriksson sprawls well. Fredriksson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Emelianenko gets slowly back to his feet. Emelianenko tries to clinch but Fredriksson moves out of range. Fredriksson moves into range and connects with a jab. Fredriksson throws a leg kick but Emelianenko sees it coming and moves out of range. Emelianenko misses with a hook. Fredriksson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Fredriksson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Emelianenko. Emelianenko blocks a leg kick. Emelianenko moves out of range of the body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fredriksson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Emelianenko takes a step back to recover. Fredriksson throws a leg kick which misses Emelianenko's front leg but catches the back leg as Emelianenko tries to avoid it. Good work by Emelianenko as he checks the leg kick. Emelianenko avoids the head kick by Fredriksson.
Fredriksson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fredriksson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Emelianenko. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fredriksson holds on and takes a little breather. Fredriksson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Emelianenko manages to get himself to full guard.
Fredriksson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fredriksson wants to control from the top but Emelianenko keeps moving. Emelianenko manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fredriksson manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Emelianenko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fredriksson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Emelianenko working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fredriksson's head. Emelianenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fredriksson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Fredriksson is looking to advance position but Emelianenko won't allow it. Fredriksson thows an elbow strike that misses. Emelianenko gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Fredriksson doesn't seem too bothered but Emelianenko quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Fredriksson is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Fredriksson really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
