Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Party In The U.S.A. . Ed Gein has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mateus Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ed Gein! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gein defends it nicely. Gein scores with a jab to the head.
Gein scores with a three punch combo!
Gein lands with a straight right. Gracie didn't see that one coming. Gracie takes one on the button. Gein scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Gracie on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Gein works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Gein gets the takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gein working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gein swings around for an armbar but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gein's guard. Gracie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gein, up you get! Gracie takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gein lands the left hand. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gein sprawls well. Gein wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet. Gein closes the distance and lands a one-two. Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gein sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mateus Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie is breathing heavily. Gein shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gein drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gein jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Gein is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gein thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gein drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gracie dives on top into guard. Gein trying to keep a closed guard but Gracie is proving a slippery customer.
Gracie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gein working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Gein is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gein is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gein has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Gein's legs - danger averted. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gracie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Gracie stands and throws Gein's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gein is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Gein is not content to let Gracie control the position. Gein is trying to control Gracie's posture but Gracie avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Gein! Gein tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gein wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away. Gracie moves to back control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie wants to control but Gein is keeping busy. Gracie controlling well, preventing Gein from escaping the position.
Gein is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Gein just trying to survive but Gracie is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Gein rolls, trying to escape but Gracie keeps control of the position.
Gracie is trying to stick to Gein's back but Gein is turning into Gracie. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Gracie's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gein. Gein passes Gracie's left leg - he's now in half guard. Gein is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gracie is just riding it out for now. Gein eventually gives up the hold. Gracie actively working from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gein looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gracie pushes Gein off looking to stand but Gein dives back in and keeps control.
Gein is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gracie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gein. Gracie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gein really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gein is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gracie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gein. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ed Gein dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gein lands a front kick. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gracie fails to land the takedown. Gein throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Gein moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Nice body kick there by Gein. Gein cracks Gracie with a right hand to the side of the head. Gracie gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gracie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Gracie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gein lands with a slapping head kick. Gracie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gracie is rocked! Gein gets the takedown into side control. Oh Gracie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Gein stands up and we're back to a striking position. Gracie seems to have got his legs back now. Gein scores with a nice head shot. Gein has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gein shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gein showed some decent athleticism there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gein is looking for a kimura but Gracie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gein to get the leverage. Gein seems to be working for a kimura but Gracie defends the submission attempt. Gein tries to stand but can't do so whilst Gracie controls his leg. Gein frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gracie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Gracie is wriggling around trying to escape.
Gein wants to finish this one by submission but Gracie is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gein. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gein fails to take his opponent's back. Gracie is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gein looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Gein looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Gein is working for a guillotine from mount but Gracie frees his head quite easily.
Gein has hold of Gracie's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gracie manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Gracie bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Gein is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gein scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Gein closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gein lands in his opponent's guard. Gracie throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Gein is looking to stand up but Gracie won't let him. Gracie pushes Gein off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Gein scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Gracie is looking to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gein throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gracie was covering up waiting for the punch and Gein finishes the takedown easily into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ed Gein showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Gein would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gein stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gein defends it easily. Gein drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Gein off! Gein jumps back into Gracie's guard. Gein drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gracie looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gracie looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gracie! Gracie advances to mount. Gein tries to hold on but Gracie pushes him away. Gracie punching from mount but Gein doing a good job of avoiding damage. Gracie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gein can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie tries to control but Gein wriggling away. Gracie wants to take his opponent's back but Gein doesn't allow it. Gracie is working hard here to advance position. Gein wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away. Mateus Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ed Gein is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! Mateus Gracie showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gein has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
