Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roland Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Yablonski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yablonski is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Miracle. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yablonski fails to land with a series of punches.
Yablonski gets the takedown into side control.
Yablonski stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Nice cross by Yablonski.
Yablonski tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range.
Yablonski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Yablonski.
Yablonski throws a low kick but Smith avoids it.
Yablonski misses with a takedown attempt - Smith sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
An inside leg kick from Smith misses.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Yablonski with a poor takedown
and Smith counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Yablonski wants to control but Smith is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Still in half guard, Smith seems content to control.
Yablonski wants to get back to his feet.
Smith throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Smith is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Yablonski!

Yablonski is in a horrible position here. Smith smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Smith can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yablonski is looking to escape.
Yablonski is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Yablonski is working to get back to half guard.
You get the feeling that Yablonski really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Yablonski looks gassed!

Smith looking for a guillotine from mount but Yablonski is having none of it.

Smith can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yablonski is looking to escape.
Yablonski really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Smith lands a heavy elbow.
Smith tries to control but Yablonski wriggling away.
Yablonski is looking to improve his position but Smith isn't that keen on the idea.
Smith working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Yablonski turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Smith off and cradles Yablonski's limp body as Smith celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Roland Smith!
