Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mohammed Mohammed!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman stuffs the takedown.
Mohammed moves in looking to clinch but Coleman pushes him off.

Mohammed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Coleman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mohammed doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mohammed manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mohammed stands up from Coleman's guard - Mohammed perhaps looking for a knockout.

Coleman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mohammed manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Coleman has Mohammed in his guard.
Coleman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Coleman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mohammed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Coleman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mohammed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mohammed avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Coleman is on top in guard.

Coleman wants to control from the top but Mohammed keeps moving.

Mohammed had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Coleman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mohammed Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Coleman's back instead.
Coleman manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mohammed's guard. Nice work there by Coleman.

Coleman stands up and waves to Mohammed to follow him.
Mohammed is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Coleman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mohammed sprawls well initially but Coleman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Coleman prevents Mohammed from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Coleman has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mohammed is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Coleman yanks on the arm and Mohammed is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Coleman.
