Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leon Lazard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Pheonix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Pheonix!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazard looks for a takedown but Pheonix sprawls well.
Pheonix shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pheonix was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Pheonix misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Lazard wants to control but Pheonix is having none of it.
Lazard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pheonix on the ground.
Pheonix sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Lazard tries to hold on but Pheonix pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pheonix lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Pheonix avoids the attempt from Lazard to control.
BOOM! Pheonix connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Pheonix lands a big elbow.
Lazard is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pheonix pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Oh Lazard is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pheonix has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Pheonix in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Pheonix scoring with strikes but Lazard is staying in there.
Pheonix looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Lazard covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
