Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Baha looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Baha tries to clinch up but Velasco circles away and keeps his distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Velasco. Velasco shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baha pinned against the cage. Baha gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Velasco misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Severino Velasco. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Velasco has a takedown stuffed.

Baha tries to close the distance and clinch but Velasco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Baha wants to clinch up but Velasco keeps it at a distance. Baha throws a sloppy head kick and Velasco moves out of range easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Baha throws a lazy right hand but Velasco sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Baha stuffs the takedown. Baha wants to clinch up but Velasco keeps it at a distance. Baha tries to clinch there but Velasco circles away.
Velasco tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Baha swivels and escapes. Velasco fails with a takedown attempt. Velasco shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Baha defends it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Velasco closes the distance and clinches up with Baha, looking for a takedown. Velasco pushes Baha against the cage but Baha circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Baha rushes Velasco and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Baha stops a takedown attempt from Velasco.
Baha gets underhooks to prevent Velasco's takedown attempt.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Baha wants to get back to full guard. Baha is trying to control but can't.
Velasco looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
