PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lan Mandragoran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Grutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mandragoran comes to the cage accompanied by Bleed it Out. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lan Mandragoran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hans Grutz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mandragoran moves into the clinch. Grutz fails to pull guard.
Mandragoran breaks from the clinch.
Mandragoran scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Grutz closes the distance but Mandragoran moves to the side and Mandragoran counters with a head kick that drops Grutz - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!
Grutz is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Grutz trying to control from the bottom.
Grutz is still in real trouble! Can Mandragoran finish him? Mandragoran tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Mandragoran stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Grutz seems to have recovered his senses. Grutz gets caught flat footed, as Mandragoran shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Grutz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mandragoran has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mandragoran wants to get up but he can't break Grutz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mandragoran controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grutz has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Mandragoran should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Grutz has tightened it up now! Mandragoran should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
