The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Night waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Johnson.
Nice sprawl there from Night as Johnson shoots in.
Donald Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Night defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson.
Night swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson.
Night looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Night is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Night works his way into side control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Night gets to mount! Johnson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Night can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape.

Johnson is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Night has taken his back.

Night has the hooks in. Johnson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Night is cranking Johnson's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Johnson! He's tightened the choke and Johnson is tapping out!
