The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pheonix sprawls well. Pheonix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Adams gets slowly back to his feet.
Pheonix has his takedown stuffed
and Adams counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pheonix swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Adams drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pheonix dives on top into guard.
Adams is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Adams has his feet on Pheonix's thighs here. He's pushed Pheonix off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Pheonix screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
